The materialityof memories, their wrappings, their shrouds. That seems to be what Dominique stubbornly draws or paints. Family photos, wether her own or belonging to others, collected by request and almost always charged with a close experience, a testimony. Memories, own or borrowed. However, that is not exactly what we end up seeing, nor is it what we experience in front of these works which, despite the title of the exhibition, deliberately hide the traces that shape their existance.
